The Sowing Growth
Board of Directors

On April 2, 2018 Articles of Incorporation were filed for the nonprofit organization Sowing Growth to assume operation of the Eastern Ingham Farmers Market, formerly operated under the name Williamston Farmers Market by the City of Williamston.

Sowing Growth’s Bylaws were adopted on May 8, 2018, and currently provide for a governance structure including a Board of Directors with five Corporate Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Immediate Past President). The Board of Directors is responsible for strategic, policy, and fiscal planning for Sowing Growth and the Eastern Ingham Farmers Market program that it operates. To assist the Sowing Growth Board in these endeavors Sowing Growth has hired a Market Manager to address the day to day operation of the Market and to advise the Board as to how it may best support the Market as a thriving contributor to the quality of life in the communities it serves.
